Gelukkige Nuwe Jaar!
Happy New Year!!
Hi all
First post of the new year aaaaand I've got no pictures for you.
This is not because I haven't taken any pictures.
On the contrary, I went home to South Africa for 2 weeks and took tons of nice pics of cheetah, wild dogs and even a tiger.
However, thanks to the wonderful hunk of junk that is my mother's computer, my CF card contracted a virus.
My school's virus software then decided it was a good idea to delete the folders on my CF card without asking me.
So, all the nice pics from those two weeks are now gone.
How sad is that?
Luckily, I bought myself a Coolpix S51 for Christmas and went around snapping loads of pics with that, so it's not all my memories that are gone, just my photography-grade pics and all the pics of animals. I'm particularly sad about the tiger pics, as I didn't take any of him with the P&S and I've never had the opportunity to play with a baby tiger before.
Ah well. I suppose them's the breaks eh?
As soon as I've formatted my CF card, though, I'm gonna get right back into it. I've started a photography club here in Okinawa, so I'm hopefully going to be taking a lot more pics in future.
And enough with the sob stories. I hope you all had a fantastic holiday period. Hope your New Years Resolutions are worthy and keep-able. Mine (the wish to travel more) was dashed by the news today that I only have four days of leave left until July. Looks like I've been doing enough travelling. Har har.
OK, enough of my blabbering.
Have a great 2008 everyone!!
Rabu rabu! <3

I wandered to your gallery about a year ago, and thought I'd visit again. I love your pictures of Japan. I love the way you capture the moment. I look forward to more.
Good luck on your test. がんばって!

Thanks for the visit. ^_^ I'm still practicing loads. I want to get a LOT better!
Thank you, I'm just sitting out the looooooong wait for the test result.
Nope, I've never heard of Go!Go!7188. I listen to mostly Okinawan music.

When in doubt, poke it with a stick!
Go!Go!7188 is a Japanese rock band. They're great. Should give them a try.
